SUMMER SANITATION SERVICE CONTRACT

 

TO BEGIN YOUR SUMMER RUBBISH REMOVAL SERVICE PLEASE COMPLETE THIS FORM AND RETURN WITH A CHECK FOR PAYMENT

 

ATTACHED IS THE CALENDAR WITH THE RECYCLE DAYS SHADED. RECYCLE IS PICKED UP ON THE SAME DAY AS YOUR RUBBISH DAY WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TOWN OF YARMOUTH, PICK UP DAY IS FRIDAY. ALSO ATTACHED ARE THE RECYCLING GUIDELINES


YARD SERVICE INCLUDES THE DRIVER COMING INTO THE YARD TO RETRIEVE YOUR BARREL. (PLEASE SPECIFY LOCATION ON PROPERTY OR PROVIDE CODES OR INSTRUCTIONS FOR GARAGE/SHED COLLECTION.


CURB SERVICE REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE YOUR BARREL AT THE CURB. YOUR DRIVER WILL NOT COME INTO YOUR YARD.  WE ASK THAT YOU HAVE YOUR BARREL OUT AT THE CURB EITHER THE NIGHT BEFORE OR BY 6:30 A.M. IF THEY ARE NOT OUT WHEN THE DRIVER ARRIVES WE ARE NOT ABLE TO COME BACK THAT DAY.


THE PRICES ARE BASED ON 95 GALLONS (ONE TOTER) OF RUBBISH  EACH WEEK. IF YOUR RUBBISH EXCEEDS MORE THAN 95 GALLONS, OUR DRIVER WILL TAKE THE RUBBISH AND YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE ASSESSED A REASONABLE EXTRA CHARGE.


HOLIDAYS FROM MAY TO OCTOBER ARE PICKED UP AS SCHEDULED, THE DUMPS ARE OPEN.


TWICE A WEEK SERVICE IS OFFERED IN ALL TOWNS FROM MEMORIAL DAY TO COLUMBUS DAY EXCEPT FOR THE TOWN OF MASHPEE AND YARMOUTH. TWICE A WEEK SERVICE IN THOSE TOWNS ARE JULY AND AUGUST ONLY.

PINA SANITATION RECYCLING GUIDELINES

WE ONLY PROVIDE 18 gal. OPEN TOP BINS FOR RECYCLING

YOU MAY PROVIDE UP TO A 60 gal CONTAINER OF YOUR OWN (PLEASE KEEP CLEAN & DRY)

ITEMS CAN NOT BE BAGGED IN ANY TYPE OF TRASH/PLASTIC BAGS

ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

Mixed Paper (newspaper, junk mail, magazines, paper bags, envelopes)

Thin cardboard (shoe boxes, cereal/pasta boxes, frozen food boxes, paper egg cartons)

Corrugated cardboard (boxes should be clean and flattened)

Tin/Aluminum (clean aluminum and tin cans, empty steel aerosol cans)

Glass bottles/jars (wine/beer bottles, emptied/rinsed food bottles/jars)

Plastic bottles/containers (labeled #1-7#, soda/juice bottles, milk jugs)

ALL CONTAINERS MUST BE RINSED

UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:

NO food waste or food tainted items (used paper plates, pizza boxes, paper towels)

NO plastic bags (including shopping bags, chip bags, sandwich bags, trash bags)

NO Styrofoam or polystyrene (Bubble wrap, AMAZON packaging)

NO hazardous material (motor oil bottles, paint cans)

NO electronics/NO batteries/NO scrap metal

NO windows or broken glass (no lightbulbs, mirrors, dishes, pots/pans)

NO yard waste

NO gloves or masks

ANY CONTAINER WITH UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP AS RECYCLE. IF A CONTAINER IS CONTAMINATED WITH UNACCEPTIBLE ITEMS, YOU MAY SORT THE ITEMS AND CALL TO REQUEST AN ADDITIONAL PICK UP. UNFORTUNATELY, THE DRIVER WILL NOT SORT AND IS UNABLE TO WAIT ON SITE
